Right-wing autocrats and authoritarian capitalism seem to be on the rise, dominating the headlines and striking fear into the hearts of many. Merz is getting on our nerves with his obsession with performance, and people are being pitted against one another.

We say: Enough is enough! We want solidarity instead of competition, cooperation instead of cutthroat rivalry, and taking a stand instead of chasing performance!!

Is that what you want, too? Then join us and run in the Lärzathlon: the solidarity charity run against the far right. Anyone can participate. Cheating is expressly allowed, and mutual support is expressly encouraged.

It’s not about speed, but about attitude rather than performance!

In general, anyone who wants to join the charity run can do. If you need certain precautions, please contact us and we will check together whether these can be implemented on the route and in the process.

Where & When

We will meet on Sunday 28.06.2026 at 11 am at the Harbour Floor

Route

We have something for all fitness levels:

  • The “full-on” route is approx. 4 km long and will take you through most of the festival terrain.
  • For the fifty-perenters we offer a shorter route that ends in a little surprise .

So thereʼs no excuse. This isnʼt about winning.

Goal

The real spirit lies in running together, and it all culminates in the grand finale: All of us crossing the finish line as one.

The brilliant finale of the Leftathlon is the joint finish.

Every contribution counts. Even if you just leave the button as a gift or turn up to cheer, your presence makes us happy. So come in large numbers!

How

A sporty appearance is welcome but not mandatory. Please wear sturdy shoes.

Screen printing & Merch

You can get your own clothes screen printed with various designs at the Tube screen printing station. So feel free to bring something to print.

Donation

100% of every entry fee will be donated and doubled by Fusion.

Donation Purpose

All proceeds are donated to Polylux Network who distribute the money to local initiatives for open, anti-racist youth work, neighborhood centers without a shift to the right, anti-racist sports clubs, alternative concerts or movie screenings.
